Hypnotic Stripes
HYPNOTIC STRIPES - Connected lines
Every project I make starts with a single image. A line, a face, a fragment — but when they connect, something larger emerges. That’s how Hypnotic Stripes came alive.
First, it existed as a gallery — portraits dissolving into one another like echoes. Then it became a micro-film: 54 seconds of motion, pulsing drums, and a looping Arabic-style vocal that turns the images into rhythm. And now, it takes the form of posters like this one — artifacts you can hold, share, or revisit.
That’s my line of work: connecting lines. Between stills and motion, between gallery and poster, between sound and silence. Each piece stands alone, but together they form a loop — a story you can step into from any angle.
Some will get it. Some won’t. That’s fine. But for those who do, Hypnotic Stripes is more than images. It’s the connection itself.
